Kerr Vets are an outstanding practice, with surgeries in Bridge of Weir and Johnstone. Every member of staff are fantastic and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at ease.Prices are very, very, competitive and there is never, ever, a feeling that you are just another number.The practices are as welcoming as a vets can ever be, bearing in mind they are medical premises.Decor and consulting room layout in Bridge of Weir has just been refurbished and comes complete with witty and genuinely funny artwork newly hung.Should your visit be because of the worst of circumstances - as mine was today, unfortunately - you and your pet will be treated with huge respect, care and kindness by everyone.They will help you through every step of that terrible journey.On a daily level, at first glance, parking would seem an issue at Bridge of Weir, as the practice is on the main village road. However there is actually an agreement in place with the owners of the large parking lot across the road which lets customers use the facilities for free.I should say that in all my years visiting, I have never actually had to use it.My whole family use Kerr's and have done for many, many, years, with my sister being the latest addition and I now will travel from Glasgow to have my fur babies seen by them, I value their expertise so highly.I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent Vetnery practice, the most professional and caring vet is Owen Bothwick, I have been a client of this vets practice for numerous years and all of my dogs have been cared for at this surgery, Owen gives his best to every animal, and the care he has for both the pets and owners are above and beyond. My dog recently was very ill and Owen was with us every step of the way, any time I needed to ask a question, it was no problem he would call me to talk me through questions and ease my worries, there was no question to silly to ask, he always takes the time to help. When it came that we could not help our baby anymore, Owen came to our home, he made our baby girls last few minutes happy in her own home with her family cuddling and talking to her, he spoke us through the procedure with genuine compassion and care.. he gave us time to say goodbye on our own. Thanks to the care and the attention Owen gave to our girl, we spent the last few weeks with her being happy and playful, right up until we knew it was time.. we will always be grateful to Owen.
I have brought my pets to Ian Kerr for more than 20 years and I have always had the best of care, both for my pets and myself, sometimes in extremely difficult circumstances. All I can say is thank you.
