just a park with two football pitches and a children's play park covered in broken glass and dog excitement. piss poor for a main park in a town the size of johnstone. council seem to spend the bare minimum of resources on this park.
Nice big open space.
Poorly maintained paths, dangerous to walk on, deep potholes. No seats. Loads of litter & broken glass over pathways and on grass areas. Children's swings, otherwise nothing of interest. Flower beds removed. Pond filled in.
Good place to walk the dog or let the toddlers play when the weather is fine. Bit exposed and windy on the not so fine days.
Good for kids football. Some of the play park area needs serious updating.
